Visa for Vietnam?

Has anybody got a visa for Vietnam recently via their London embassy? I'm just wondering did it all go OK.
They quote prices in Sterling including a "special postal delivery" of £5, does this also work OK for sending it (and the passport) back to Ireland?
What's the best way to send a passport to England via the post - registered delivery?

    Cheers for any tips.

Don't know about getting a Visa from here but last year i went through Cambodia and got a visa in Phnom Penn for $20.
IMHO Cambodia is well worth visiting at the expense of a few days in Vietnam.

Hi, I got a visa last year from the embassy in London. Went fine, took about 10 days to get it back. I sent it via registered post (don't chance the normal post, it's not worth the risk for the sake of a few Euro. IMO) and got it back from the embassy via registered post.
I can't remember how much extra I paid to the Vietnamese embassy for the postage back then, but I recently got a visa for Syria from their embassy in London and the return registered post was £5 (well £4.90 something to be exact :)), so what you were quoted sounds right too.

Thanks for the Frank, looks like they'll send it back by registered post then. I just hope it gets back before any postal strike!
