Hi, i hope you all can help me out.
i need a camera that is good on taking video clips. im not too concerned with still images.
at the mo i have a crappy 2MP olympus d390 one that only captures with 15FPS. i need one to analyse my technique both in running and weightlifting and id prefer not to spend and arm and a leg on one.
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=315038
this one seems to have good vid cap ability at 640x380 and 30fps.
    what do ye all think?
plus the longest clip would be 20 secs at most but i might be as much as 100m away though.
    any help appreciated. thnks...

I'm not being smart, but why are you looking for a camera? Why not a video recorder? Anyway, I had an iXus 40 which took really good video all the way up to 60fps. Eats memory though so a large SD card is necessary.

id really like one that can take ok stil's but has good video capture. as i say my 2MP takes fine stills for me but its vid capture is crappy.
i dont know anything about camcorders. what should i look for in one of those.
my budget is around the €200 euro mark.
im going to the uk soon. can i pick up something cheap at the airport?

I was looking up that camera and its exactly what i want. A decent still picture but excellent short burst of 60fps and i can freeze frame and slow motion through the movie on the lcd. That is perfect.
Do you still have that camera? Id definitely buy it off you...
