I think nanotechnology is going to revolutionize medicine and technology. I hear they already are using it in products. Has anyone used a product with nano tech?

i have to say it a very interesting subject, i remember watching a programme where they said in the future they would use nanotechnology to build tubes for buildings that are tougher than steel and if they broke they would repair themselfs.
    Amazing stuff.

Holographic memory / Gallium Arsnide is the future of computing.
    Always has been.
    Always will.

Nanotechnology has been added to the list. Most Nanotechnology like AI research before it is funded by the military. In the case of nanotechnology the big bucks are in reducing the size of detonators / locks for atomic weapons where size and weight are critical.

When did you last wash the dishes?

No, seriously, did you ever wonder at the rainbow of colours from oil spilt in water? The reason is that the molocule are large (long hydrocarbon chains) and seperate (numbers of) layers, starting from one layer thick, create an effect called surface plasmon resinance.

I do nanotechnology in the kitchen I do!

The thing about nanotechnology that worries me, is the size. I don't want to spend a couple of grand on a PC only to lose it down the sofa.
