No Culchie, Its not celtic poker, this guy seems very geniune. He has dealers on all the tables abd is trying to make a good go of it. On the same level as Pokerevents.
I have no idea though of the structure of the tournament, I just supplied the chips, cards etc....But he did come across as a good guy, i beleive he is running it in conjunction with one of the dublin casinos.

I can't remember Premium Poker being mentioned on the poker forum before.
Make sure that if you go you post a trip report here!

didnt realise this thread existed, already posted a few questions about them in another thread. ill let u know what i know guys, they are a new company, definetly arent jus a change of name. they have dealers at every table and are trying to target the massive begginer market, this is a very good thing because a friend of mine dealt at it and said that anyone with a decent knowledge of poker would definetly make godd in roads in it, and with the re buys and large guaranteed prize pool i tink its definelty worth looking into.
the man running it (mark) is a really decent guy like murphie said.
ill post any more info i get, ie when the next event is on etc, but i think its laois in two weeks.

i hear that they have a tournament on next week, thur week in port laois. they are capping the entry to only 125 players, with an initial buy in of 75€ and opportunities of buy backs for the first hour(50E), un limited, with one top up(50E), then a freeze out. guaranteed prize pool of 7K, with possibilities of it rising depending on amount of rebuys, etc. dealers at every table and the equipment etc is meant to be very good. its a new company trying to give it a shot, so i think its well worth having a look at, also alot of beginners, eager to buy back, and payout isnt too top heavy. more will be posted soon when more info is availble, but it all sounds good
