Configuring Azurues to WinXP

    I just downloaded azureus on my friends laptop and i cant get it to run. it says the port is'nt open so i opened it via the firewall(Norton). it still is not working does anyone know the problem or any suggestions on fixing the problem.

    what is that in relation too and will in involve much tinkering with the thing.

    Can't help thinking it might have something to do with Windows Firewall on Windows XP if it hasn't been de-activated - Control Panel/Security Centre. More often than not it's a pain in the ass if you've got other security software going and Norton is pretty decent.

    I doubt it has anything to do with windows firewall, As Khannie pointed out google nat configuration, You need to forward the ports that azeures is listening on your broadband modem / router / magic wheee box that makes fast internet.
