A Day in the Life of a Mod

20-10-2005 11:03am#17:30am : Mod wakes up to sound of his Star Trek Theme alarm clock hits the snooze button so he can listen to it again in 10 minutes time.
7:40am : Logs on to boards.ie. and can’t believe CoolGuy189 actually said Peter Jackson was more brilliant than George Lucas. He argued for a while, but eventually decided to settle it over a game of internet chess. Needless to say he mated in only 24 moves. DON'T MESS WITH THE BEST!!!!
8:20am: Time to go find some porn and take care of business.
8:21am: Back to bed to recover.
11:00am : Turns TV on to Sky One to watch the morning episode of Star Trek. No not the original series, it’s The Next Generation of course. What do you think he is, some kind of loser? I mean you'd have to be a real muppet to watch a sci-fi show from the 60's before noon. Not him he prefers his adventures with Jean-Luc Picard!
12:00am : Time to get dressed and head out for some top class food. Puts on his skin tight, pink and black lycra outfit with yellow lightening strikes, laces up his roller blades, puts on his oversized motorbike helmet and away he goes
12:10am : See’s his old school yard nemesis Bernard is now working at McDonalds. He used to make fun of him for wearing a braces over the top of his school jumper when he secretly used to want a pair but look at him now serving burgers all day! What a loser.
12:30am : Started to feel ill and thinks that Bernard may have took a crap in his Veggie burger
1:00pm : His stomachache has gone and he now heads over to his fav hangout spot, only for the super cool of this world. Yep, "Forbidden Planet" it’s the place you want to chill at. Everybody was there… Amp, Esckor, DeVore and BudTheStud. Oh man it was so cool! This is the place were he came up with the idea that they should all give each other nicknames.
1:30pm : He gets pissed off with his buddy’s, those bastards wouldn't let him play Dungeons and Dragons with them at Forbidden Planet. He asked them why not and they all said something about him being too self involved and too much of a loser. Well who needs them anyway? One day he'll be a famous computer programmer and a level 10 wizard then he’ll show them. Oh how he chuckled to himself as he thought about that nearly wetting his pants.
1:31pm : Just realised that he has pissed himself!
2:00pm : Rushes home to catch the 1:00pm episode of Star Trek that should be finished recording on his Sky+ only to find out that he has to many recordings of Quantum Leap on his Sky+ and that it didn’t record Star Trek.
2:15pm : After coming to terms with missing his first episode of a repeat episode of Star Trek he decides to hit the chat rooms. He meets this nice Christian girl named Claire. He does the usual… I’m 6'8, 215 pounds, bodybuilder, that my name is Jack Bullet and that I’m in my onw rock group on my own. He think that they really might have something going. Sure she weighs 240 pounds, but when he become a millionaire computer programmer and a level 10 wizard he can buy her tons of weight loss pills.
5:00pm : He writes a love email to Claire and confessed that he needs a woman like her (or just any woman) in his life, and that the universe would be empty without her. Then he thinks “Well technically the universe is empty, I mean when you have all the matter known to science taking up less than a percent of the entire space of our known universe…well you don't have to be Stephen Hawking to figure that one out! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111”
5:05pm : Checks his emails for any reply from Claire. There’s one new email in his in box! It’s from NTL he has been promoted to customer support. To celebrate he cracks open a bottle of Blue Nun, the good stuff.
8:00pm : He pours his last glass of Blue Nun and stumbles upstairs and checks his emails. That bitch Claire didn’t reply to his email so he decides to send her a nasty email breaking up with her and telling her not to send him any emails as he won’t bother reading them. Who needs girls when you’ve got the internet! Anyway when he’s a famous computer programmer and a level 10 wizard everyone will want to be his friend
9:00pm : Logs into boards.ie and finds a thread in the subscribers section started by BudTheStud called “Todays Prank”. It seems after he left Forbidden Planet, Amp, Esckor, DeVore and BudTheStud had planned to log onto his fav chat room to trick him and are going to post up the conversation that he and Claire had on boards.ie Tomorrow.

Those oil drums in the first picture are not the standard issue oil drums but in fact they are spec op oil drums. I hadn't a clue what Bud was on about so I sent him a PM back asking him to explain.BudTheStud wrote:Hi UberNewb,

Spec Op Oil drums differ to ordinary oil drums in only one way. They may look identical to standard oil drums but for the fact that they are bullet proof. In most Spec Op missions. Recon will go in and replace standard oil drums with Spec Op oil drums. So when me and Mike/Spec Op Soilders have a fire fight during the mission we can safely hide behind them.
