    PPP is down... again

I was down to the final table of a 44 player MTT. I had spent $120 I think in total ($30 rebuy :))

8 players left, 6 get paid. I am not sure of the breakdown, but the total prize fund was $2,730.

Blinds 2k, 4k. Chip stacks as follows:

MTT Table 1 5075125-39 Holdem No Limit 2,000/4,000
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Hand Start.
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 1 : mr522 has $7,080
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 2 : weebull has $4,550
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 3 : j chitwood has $21,120
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 4 : JDWiz has $16,780
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 5 : massena has $18,000
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 6 : gregior has $35,160
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 7 : ocallagh has $48,060
    [Oct 20 00:25:17] : Seat 8 : daveo3 has $31,250
[Oct 20 00:25:17] : 'Dead button' is at seat 0

PPP have told me they will refund my rebuys etc... I know from the chip stacks I'm not a huge favourite to even finish in the top 4, but I'd never have settled for anything less than 3rd in this position. Even if I'm offered 3rd I'll be pissed I didn't get a chance to play for 1st..

Saying that, if I got my way and was given a good chunk of the money, weebull with 4550 chips is gonna get next to nothing!! If I was him I'd settle for no less than 5th either. IMO, all 8 of us had a chance of coming 1st or at least winning a good chunk, we invested a lot of time, and PPP should pay over the odds to compensate for the inconvenience!

    Opinions?

Edit: I just managed to log back in and I was gone in 4th. Maybe VC wasn't affected.. but two lucky punters were left.. and they must have had a good time robbing the blinds.. Anyway, if I can come 4th without playing a hand I think 2nd or at least 3rd is fair.. Off to spport I go!

is it just me or are these horror stories more common for ppp/ribeca than other networks?

they are and with the constant disconnections I've been suffering I don't think I'll be playing there again for a while. I'm going to finish out this month (purely because the STT's are so easy) and withdraw my balance, I'll stick to Full Tilt and A n other for the next couple of months.

I've never had a problem with a dropped connection from Tribeca during an STT or MTT. And as Iago says the STTs are pretty easy.

I consistently have dropped connections too with all Tribeca sites.

I hardly ever have any problems with ppp and I'm on it the whole time.

The prize pool will be divided up according to stack sizes when there are disconnection issues.

Very strange that two punters did not get disconnected, are you sure it was not your net connection acting up?
