I was at it last night. And to be honest, I couldn't wait to leave the gig. I found it very boring, and while I respect their ability on their respective instruments the songs played last night were crap.

I'd say it would have been alot better if he had played more of Passion and Warfare.

His acoustic set was one of the worst I've ever seen and his singing was even worse. The highlight of the night was when he and the drummer were having their little competiton to see who was fastest. Great to watch. Unfortunately after that it was just terrible.

i was on me feet for 3 and a half hours at that gig, it dragged by the end. its less of a gig and more of an exhibition. there was very little movement from the crowd, the acoustic set was pretty poor. i'm glad i went though, its not every day you witness talent of that magnitude - billy sheehan anyone?

Couldn't agree more, you could have left after the first song and not missed anything really...

It was alright but absolutely no atmosphere in the crowd where I was (about 4th row from the front), full of mostly stuck up **** and old people (30, 40, 50+). A few times me and my friends tried to get a mosh started, and the looks we got from the people around us was unreal, 1 old guy actually said to me "excuse me, you are pushing" omg it's a rock concert you gimp!!! Apart from that, Vai was his usual amazing self, I thought he wasn't gonna play 'For the Love of God', then when I was outside having a smoke, all I hear is the opening to it, very last song.

I thought it was great! but i did get evo's and i was at the front for the whoel thing, i thought it was an amzing concert, and it did go on for ages, the acoustic set was Alright, his singing was just ok, but i wuda prefared to hear some more of passion and warefare but either way, best show ive been to EVER, but i am a huge fan and a guitar freak..... and crowds are concerts like that arent liek normal concerts theres a whole new range of people for them either way i thot it was great!

I thought it was a great gig but yeah, it did drag a bit towards the end. I enjoyed the acoustic set and I never expected him to play Sisters, it's one of my favs off PAW. I would have liked to have heard Blue Powder though

ya muppet...yeah its a rock concert to see an amazing guitarist not a metal concert where you jump around like a mad bastard.
