I didn't make it last night, played it last week for the first time and came 3rd aswell, well done it's a tough enough field to get through!

I was in seat one at the final table, think I went out in 7th after doing most of my chips with Q9 against KJ who hit a straight. Wasn't my proudest moment, played pretty terrible last night altogether actually. Davey Devil was there too in seat 2, you might remember I hit runner runner club with K10 to beat his A3 on an Ace high flop!

Ended up 4th. Blinds were 4,000/8000 and Neil had most of the chips making it very tight between us other 3. Folded around to me in the SB I moved all in for 30,000 with J10. Not ideal but with the blinds that big you have to keep shoving it in. Big blind called and I was happy enough to see pocket 7's. Saw a jack in the window but the flop managed to come down with a 7 too. Hit a jack on the river just to rub the salt in. Maybe next time.

UL Dave, you were playing very well. It turns in to a bit of a crapshoot after a while in there. Too many solid enough players who don't give their chips away easily enough so the antes fly up without too many chip movements. They should extend the clock when it gets down to the last two tables or something. I don't know what I was doing with the Q9, after a serious lack of cards two that were sooooted went to my head a bit. Was happy to get my money back after the amount of scrapes I'd fluked my way out of.
