MTT about 10 minutes before the break blinds are 150/300 My stack is just over the average.

I'm dealt QcJc on the button....MP 2 limps in CO limps in so far I've been very aggresive and anytime I've had to show cards I've shown strong solid hands and won the pot.

I decide to make it 1200 to go SB folds BB folds, MP 2 calls CO calls

MP2 seems to have very good reads on most of the players at the table and has been playing very solid poker, CO seems to just throw out a large part of his stack everytime he hits a pair on the flop.

Flops comes K 10 4 no clubs MP2 checks CO bets roughly half his stack into the flop 4k so it's pretty obvious he's holding a K as he's been doing this most of the previous rounds, I look to MP2 and he looks like very disintrested in the raise and unhappy with the flop looks like he's missed the flop with his A-X

The three of us are roughly the same stack wise.

    What now...

Well I know you didn't ask but the preflop raise is bad. What exactly are the chip counts?

Yeh, I don't like that raise preflop, and I think he's priced you out of your draw, if you call it's a mistake so he's done his job.

One of your outs is gone if you have read the MP2 correctly. I think you take your medicine here, you've still over 4K so whilst you need to win some pots soon, i don't think this is the time to gamble.

    Fold

P.S If you do play it has to be a push rather than a call, but I hate that play as well.

The three of us are holding around 9k MP2 might of had slightly more.

    Definite fold then

If I'm calculating it all correctly, CO has bet the pot thereby pricing you out of a chase. He has also pretty much pot committed himself, given that out of 9k starting he now has over 5K in the middle, so if you push you have no folding equity. Unless you want to gamble and try to get lucky in this spot you fold.

    undoubted fold.
U have to assume u have 7 outs, making u 28% to win this pot.
He has bet 4k into a 4k pot, u have no odds to call, u both have only c8k left, so u have no implied odds, and u are putting half your stack in here with a draw, and yet with 8k left u are in no way pot commited.
A complete fish would call here, and if someone did, and outdrew my k, i would be a tad annoyed.
