Its a masterplug aerial booster. 1 uhf coax goes in and 4 come out.
It has a red power light, and a green surge light.

The signal out is working but the picture looks interfered. Like a bar runing thorugh the picture on all channels? If I unplug the unit, nothing, just snow on all the out channels, but when plugged in it is like some sort of interference of an electronic nature?

The surge light is green? Is this meant to be like this? The setup worked perfect for 12 months and this is a recent issue? It started about 2 days ago. any suggestions? Maybe the booster box is damaged?

    thanks for suggestiions/help

I'm no expert, but from looking up Distribution Amps recently some asked for a terminator to be fitted to unused outlets!
To be honest they should be supplied if required!

I'm sure you checked the most annoying problem. Just one almost invisible strand of braid in contact with the core of the aerial cable.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Horizontal bar moving up the screen? Problem is a mains 'hum'.
    Yes your amp is faulty.
Those cheap plug in yokes are often problematic. I take a feair few of them out.
Try without the amp, just using a decent METAL splitter, if pic is weak, preferably use a decent masthead amp on the aerial with a seperate power supply, or a proper distribution amp wth the splitter. Triax is recommended.
