Freezing cold here in Porto :p

I actually dont know the temp.. batteries ran out in my weather-me station..

Its mighty cold though and i reckon its around 2c at the moment...

met.ie is down for some reason??

And it was 5c outside at around 630 out on the manual thermometer..

Expect a sharp ground frost countrywide tonight..

Possibly the first - figures of the autumn..

Or did we go below freezing last night??

Nonetheless nice to see some early frost ;)

Claremorris -0.6C last night, which I think was first air frost of Autumn. There was a widespread ground frost on Sept 24th with -5.2C at Kilkenny and 0.1C air min at Mullingar.
The first widespread air frost last year was Oct 20th.

    Wrong :D

The benefits of a scandinavian house. No heating on and the inside temp is a balmy 22C.

Meanwhile, outside, the air temp has risen a little to 2C, still sub zero 4ft lower at grass level.
