Anyone interested in this? We could do it online or live (which I'd personally much prefer, I'm sure the Merrion would accommodate). I'm thinking maybe €250 in, that would mean we'd need 17 entrants to get one ticket, and if we got anymore we could give the leftovers to second. Who knows, we might even get a second ticket together. If your interested just post here, I'll get on to the Merrion and see if they'd accommodate us on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

I'm just wondering - mainly because of comments on the London tournament - but has the structure for this been finalised ?

I've no intention of playing. Am just curious.

I'd be very interested in a live game on a Sunday evening and I reckon I'd get 2 or 3 to travel with me. Post details and we'll see what we can do.

What I also think might be a good idea would be a possible group of 10 people play a satellite, 440 euro each.

The satellite would be a syndicate where the winner gets to play in the main event plus receives maybe 25% to 45% of what he/she wins. The other 55% to 75% of the winning players possible winnings is divided evenly between the other 9 syndicate players.

So worst case synario is you get knocked out first but still have an 8% interest in the player representing the syndicate.

And also play the STT with a decent clock, letting the best player come through....giving everyone involved a good shot of some cash....??????

I'd say a single table satellite would be more realistic from the amount of replies here. I'd be up for the percentage thing too, but how about giving higher percentages to people according to where they come in the satellite? It would be a bit lousy coming second and getting the same as tenth. I don't think whoever wins it should have any less then 40% of themselves either. Maybe 1st:ticket, 2nd:15%, 3rd:10% and the rest 5% each?

Dave, I can get 3 more players and a free venue on a saturday or sunday. Either 10 @ 440 with percentage jobby. I can get agreement for all to sign or cheaper with more people.

    Might be. What structure?

I reckon we'll probably get between 10 and 20 people for it, just not sure whether we should do a couple of stts or one multi table. I'd personally prefer to do a couple of stts, as this would allow for the syndicate idea so even if you don't get a ticket then you'd still have an interest in it. Anyway, I'll let you all decide, whoever's interested just say what format they'd prefer and we'll come to some sort of conclusion.

Sean- We haven't decided on a final structure but it will definitely be very slow, Mike will be getting us a venue so there won't be any time restrictions so no reason to rush it.
