Framing charcoal portraits

I've recently had a couple of portraits done of the kids by charcoal/chalk and I want to frame them. They are on card. Any suggestions on the best way to get them done with maximum effect?

I think behind glass the effect would be lost

    Hi Lex,

We had pastal paintings and they were framed behind glass. This is to protect the pastal from smudging, also before framing the charcoal picture they should use a clear Lacquer spray to seal the picture.
    regards

I had some artwork on heavy linen paper. I got it framed in nonreflective glass, you would think there is no glass in it when looking at it, and no glare etc
