I know that this has already been dealt with, but cant find any info.

I have a phoneline but no phone service and looking to get a first time subscription to sky....How can it be done. I heard that theres an installer in Dublin who does it without a line....any numbers and prices.

    Many Thanks

Yes, it can even be done direct with Sky, but sometimes they want a little extra for install as they won't make any money from "Interactive" services.

See also www.satellite.ie who do Dublin installs, but I don't know if he can organise this.

Yep deperate to increase new connections, sky are now connecting without a phone line. They charge you an extra €37 (or there abouts) on initialising the card.

Really? Is this if you ring them? I don't think this offer has filtered to independant installers, or at least, I never heard about it.

I guess my comment about Sky not paying enough may be true :-)
I'll not be in Waterford on Sun, Tony, I'll be with EI8SI

    Thanks for the help.

Rang last night, got a 19th Oct install date and a 37.50 charge for the pleasure of activating the card without a phoneline and they also wouldnt give me the half price deal for 3 months due to the phoneline.
