Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I was wondering; if I had two PCs with BlueTooth adaptor Dongle-thingys, could I share files(or even an Internet Connection) between them?

    Typically, yes.
    What OS?
    Check up/for: Personal Area Network.

802.11 is much better suited to this task tbh.

802.11 is a number used to call for a wifi card..

wifi card at the moment comes in
    802.11a
    802.11b
    802.11g

'a' being the slowest and 'g' being fastest..

    as for the bluetooth..
If should work.. but it is much slower when compare to wifi even though both are wireless type of connection

West Dublin, ☀️ 7.83kWp ⚡5.66 kWp South West, ⚡2.18 kWp North East

802.11a is not the slowest! It operates on 5GHZ (b and g use ~2.4GHz) and is not as widely used/available outside of the U.S.A.

802.11 technologies is more commonly referred to as WiFi or simply and innaccurately "Wireless"..
I recommend Wireless over Bluetooth as it is faster, operates better over greater distances and handles obstacles better (g in particular).

Back to bluetooth: ensure Service Pack 2 is installed on both machines, and plug in the dongles = no hassle or fuss.

http://compnetworking.about.com/cs/wireless80211/a/aa80211standard.htm for more info (*Although, you should note that Bluetooth will work over further distance if you employ class I adaptors - but as stated(and previously) - the speed drops significantly..and the whole thing becomes a mess.)
