firefox downloader

    sorry but do you know the way you are able to install daownloaders on ie are you able to do this with firefox and is there one which you can set it to turn off arfter download????????????????????

    Firefox has its own downloader (ctrl+J).
    Once your file is complete go to the download screen and you will see your program on the list, just double click it and it will start installing.....

    I think he's looking for a proper download manager, which firefox's one is not. There's plenty of extensions for various different download managers available for firefox, some of them should support it out of the box (i think getright does).
    Have a look on tools -> extensions -> get more extensions.

    Get a download manager like getright, install it, dont bother changin any options.

    Then install the flashgot extension for firefox.

    When u want to send a file to getright on the pop up box that appears when u click a file select "send to flashgot" and push ok. Itll be sent to getright to download.
