Lidl/Aldi Laptops - Opinions?

    Hi all,

I'm considering getting rid of my desktop entirely and possibly also my IBM Thinkpad T41 and changing it for one of those Tevion laptops I see advertised in Lidl/Aldi every so often.

On the face of it, they seem to be very good specs, quality/brand components and very well priced; I'm just wondering if anyone here has bought them and what they think from a reliability, support point of view.

    What I need...
    - P4 3.0 (or close enough)
    - 1GB RAM
    - 200GB HDD
    - Integrated DVD-RW drive
    - DECENT integrated video... thats where the Thinkpads fall down :(
I wouldn't play too many games these days, but I'd like the option to be able to play the current ones (BF2/HL2 etc) if I want to.

    Any opinions appreciated... cheers! :)

They are a great laptop, one of my friend has had one of them of a good while and never had a problem with it.
So your idea seems well founded.
