FTP Server on Eircom BB

Mate of mine was wondering if it is possible to run an ftp server thru a Eircom BB connection. Excluding the problem of dynamic IP address is this possible, or do Eircom prohibit this service? Thanks

Its fairly easy to setup a FTP server on eircom BB and requires little more than an No-IP account!

Tried it myself nearly a year ago and it worked fine but 128kb(12-13KBytes realistically) is just too damn slow!!!

It probable is prohibited...then again most thing are these days!!!
