    It probably would have been a blog, or at least used some type of bloging code, if set up in 2005, rather then 1997.

    But to O'Reilly and others like him the word 'blog' may just be an easy way to say any online publication not from the establishment - even if the Smoking Gun is owned by Court TV.

    Love the bit about 'The English Crown with their henchman Oliver Cromwell'

    Hadn't the Monarchy been abolished before Cromwell came to Ireland? And hadn't the king been put to death just before that? Largely at the maouevring of said 'henchman'?

    Mind you. He does raise an interesting topic. How does an oppressed people best make the transition to liberty, equality and fraternity in a democratic society?
