Yeah, they've really done it this time. Hate for the West in the Middle East has reached fever pitch - people are cheering and applauding the action from Cairo to Damascus.

America should be taught a lesson. But not this - it's an act of war and innocent civilians have died. I have studied justification of war theory and this is very flimsy indeed. It's repugnant.

I support Palestine and I am greatful that Arafat has condemned the action. It's a dispicable act of aggression.

America will never be the same, Bush will go on a rampage, we'll never know the truth, the middle east will destablise, the Israelies will do the dirty work of america and things are going to be very bad indeed.

Let's hope this doesn't happen.

From what i know, there is 7 planes that are unaccounted for and 1/2 are out of america's air space that means that they terr's could be going to the partners of america.... england

Well this is having an effect here in the office.

Personally, I have a sister that works in Boston and she will be taking the flight from Boston to LA next month. She is at home for a break but flies back on Sunday.

2 of the Guys in the office here with me have sons in the States and have been frantically trying to contact them.

One of engineers baby son is flying from Atlanta to Paris at this moment and the poor guy is worried sick and trying to get some news.

Remember an awful lot of people in the World Trade Buildings were not Americans.

I have friends who work on Wall street. I've contacted most of them and they are ok. They had friends in those buildings.

I stood in the lobby of building 1 about 8 weeks ago. Its simply unbelievable that its not there now.

I was told in school earlier today and I did not believe it. It sounds like the plot of a bad disaster movie.

Whoever is responsible is going to be dealt with severely, I doubt it will result in a war though (but with Bush you can't be sure).

My cousin had just flew back to New York yesterday (thankfully he's ok) and I had booked tickets for October. Scary stuff.
