First of all sorry if this has been asked before, hard to know with the search function disabled.

So I have a Dlink DSL G604T wireless router that I'm using an ap according to the spec sheet it comes with a 2dbi antenna and while coverage is pretty good it could be better at the other end of the house so rather than buy another ap I was thinking I could change the antenna and I was looking at this one which is 9dbi. My question is using 8011.g what extra range would the 9dbi give me, roughly??
