Been an apprentice for a few months now, happy enough with the job and that, except for this.

an apprentce came to work with us (he got in on the back of the manager, relative)

so he comes in for about two weeks solid then is taking days and half days whenever he wants, this has been going on for about 3 months now and its really starting to irritate me now, he mooches on to my jobs coming in giving he two cents on what way it should be done, this chap dosent even know the diffrence between loosenig and tightining a NUT!

And this lad is on the same wages as me, and i'm considerd a 2nd year unoffical apprentice!!!!!
This is realy donig my Butter And Bread in, Suggestions on what should be done?

Righty tighty, lefty loosey :) Not hard to remember really :p

Not a lot you can do mate. If he's the manager's relative then it could be messy. Depends on the manager tho. Some managers are harder on their relatives than anyone else, some aren't. It sounds like your manager is of the latter catagory.

I'd let it be and try to ignore the guy. Family is messy sometimes. You could complain but it could make life harder for you.

it might not be nice, right or ethical but it's reality.

In every line of business there is a degree of nepitism, you just have to bear with it
