Hi there, I'm new, so be gentle with me!!

I just wanted to put this up in the hopes anyone on this forum might be able to help me. I have a Nikon f55 SLR to sell, I got it as a present, and it turns out I am NO good at photography and so I want to sell it.

What i am wondering is where to sell it??? I (obviously) want to get a good deal so i thought of maybe advertising in colleges that do photo courses.. any ideas??

the f55 is a good camera, but its available with the lens for €199 so you may price a lot lower in order to sell.

With the advances in the last couple of years in digital SLR's and the introduction of (relatively) reasonably priced models from Canon & Nikon the 35mm film format is practically dead.

You'd nearly be better off trying to sell the lenses seperately

No just the 28-100 lens included for €199.

Seriously why not take a class and give photography a go, maybe buy a good book. Its a nice camera setup you have, unfortunatly most people that would be in the market for a beginners camera like that would be looking for digital. Most students would be going for a more manual type camera to learn the basic controls. So this wouldnt be very easy to sell.

Have a go yourself, get a CD with your next roll of film developed and show us some shots.
