The Ruby Slippers Ball

    The Ruby Slippers Ball is a black tie event being held in the Davenport Hotel in Dublin on Friday, 14th October. It will commence at 7pm with a pre-dinner drinks reception and dinner will follow at 8pm. A balloon raffle will take place at 9.45pm (a number of balloons will be sold and details of the prize will be found inside when the balloon is burst!). After this, guests will take to the floor to the sounds of the Camembert Quartet (a great live act; you may know them as the house band on Tubridy Tonight), and a DJ will follow to keep everyone dancing until the early hours!

    The Ball is a fundraising event in aid of Focus Ireland, who, as you all probably know, work to help the homeless in Ireland or, in their words, "to advance the right of people out-of-home to live in a place they call home through quality services, research, and advocacy".

    It should be a great night for a great cause so hopefully some/all of you (and your friends!) will be able to make it!
