i think the cl is more fun altho i reckon the packs in the Prem league would be able to grind down most of the CL packs over the length of a season

Maybe thats because the clubs in the Prem. are bigger and more able to afford spares in the pack.
Not because of any innate superior physical attributes.
Once the CL gets a good sponsor than it should be much more interesting.
As I see it the only losers are the welsh who are playing a lot more matches with limited benefit.

i'd agree. Just a much bigger playing pool and more strength in depth eg look at our 2nd string props and 2nd row....they are tiny by premiership standards.

wrt the welsh....haha. those silly buggers have shot themselves in the foot again. sure by the looks of things the powergen isn't even been taken seriously by tose clbs who fear possible relegation.

Shane Byrne has raised a few eyebrows by saying that the Celtic league is physically tougher than the Guiness Premiership.

LOL* the CL does look better IMO in the big matches bit some of the games are so one sided it isnt funny. I agree think the WRU have taken a gun out and properly shot themselves in the foot. All good for the Irish muck warriors:D

I'll stick to Top 14 action! :p That's where my beloved Stade Toulousain plays so no choice!

I do like a good CL match from time to time though! ;)

Dave, I recall a small byline in the Sunday tribune I think, that said that SB found the CL more physical than the GP.
I'm not 100% but I think it was the Tribune...
