"permanently" uninstall laptop keyboard?

for some reason or other, my backspace key is constantly switching on for hourse on end - making it impossible to type or click anything; so I need to uninstall it, problem is though that windows xp always reinstalls the keyboard after restart - I dont want this, I am happy using my external keyboard. anyone know how to do…

anyone know how to do this (btw: will get laptop fixed soon, just need an interim solution)

If you disable the device instead of uninstalling it, it should work.
