Range balls

Is there any way you know of getting the range logo of the driving range balls??

I happened to come accross 300 or so and they be handy for the golf course, sure there is not much diff between them and the good balls

dunno about gettting the logo off but there is a massive difference between them
and the good balls, they are much lower compression on purpose to stop people
stealing them and using them on the course..

there is a huge difference. They are much softer, rather like the commando pitch and putt ones.

Try rubbing the golf balls with a rag soaked in acetone. Might take the logos off. If your going to try this for Gods sake do it in a well ventilated area and away from any ignition sources.

There is a big difference between range balls and normal balls . A lot of the ranges use balls that can only travel certain distances ie: If tiger woods rocked up and started smashing balls he would not manage to get it over the fence.

PS: How do you "come across" 300 drving range balls :rolleyes: , on the side of the road

I used to find a few range balls around the practice area when I was younger and tried them out back then. Now unless they have changed dramatically since I tried them on the course, they are complete piles of sh!te to putt and play any sort of short game with..
