I think Ive set up my speakers wrong. Just wondering is there a test that plays sound in each speaker to make sure its coming from the right one ? i.e starts with middle, then front right etc etc ?

I remember being able to do it before...just cant remember where.

*can mod move this to computers, sorry, Im half asleep and didnt even notice I was posting it here*

should have put this in the computer forum.
There's a test if you have Creative hardware / software - on the EAX console.

If you have any sort of decent sound card, onboard or pci there programs usually have a test for this :). Look in the bottom right hand corner on your task bar for some sort of sound program, that usually has it.
You could also just put a DVD in that has 5.1 sound and check with that :).

there should be a test that outputs a white noise from all channels, i even think windows has a program that does the same, i know that with the 7.1 setup i have it outputs white noise and a bee aswell that you can move around to position the speakers output as to not have weak spots.
