Poll Options - "Excellent / Average etc." Or "Rating (1-10)"?!

Which would you prefer to have when you vote in the discussion threads for episodes?

You can either choose to leave it like it is now...

- Excellent! / Good / Average / Poor / Terrible!

... or a rating system from 1 - 10:

- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

Am leaving your choice in the poll private but the poll will close next Monday (3rd October) with the preferred rating system being implemented in the discussion thread for the next episode, "2X03 - Orientation" airing next Wednesday.

The decision is yours!

I think a number rating system would work better.

I'd rarely vote excellent myself as I always feel there should be some room for improvement.

Could we not have a rating system that goes 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42? or would it be altogether too cheezy?

I prefair the Excellent --> Terrible way of things, if my suggestion isn't a goer!

And, by the same token, we'd hardly ever see anyone vote "Poor" or "Terrible", espeically given the fanaticism on this forum.

Otherwise, again, the results will end up skewing in the 7-10 mark, imbalacing the system. They can't all be great episode of "Lost" - we should have a median of 5 as a baseline and work off of there. Which is why I gave 2x02 a '6'. It's more precise...

I voted for good, poor, terrible, but then I saw the geeky 'numbers' system and liked that better.
