I see it's Harrington and McGinley for the World Cup again this year - 9 in a row or something like that. Amazing when they won it back in .....'97???
Anyway, what's the story with Big Darren - does he never want to play or what's up there? Maybe not playing great this year but surely over the 9 years he was playing excellent a number of times and would have had a higher ranking....

Harrio & McGuinner should do well but you'd have to fancy the English team's chances, Donald & Howell.

    Ireland :_ Paidge & McGuinner
    England :_ Donald & Howell
    Wales :_ Dodd & Dredge
    Scot :_ Gallacher & Drummond
    Spain :_ Jimenez & Garcia
    France :_ Levet & Jacquelin
    Sweden :_ Stenson & Fasth
    Nether :_ Derk & Lafeber
    Argentina :_ Cabrera & Gonzalez
South Africa :_ Immelman & Tim Clark

Yeah Howell has been in great form recently and a golfer who plays with a smile on his face. Fancy the Spanish though.

Darren's wife is battling cancer and he is understandably not playing in a lot of events.

    Poor guy.

I think darren doesn't play because he is from the north and leaves it to the boys don't south.

I think I remember hearing about something like that but not 100% sure

    RUBBISH!

As the top ranked player from Ireland, Harrington has his choice of any other player from Ireland (north and south) as long as they are in the top 100 in the world.

Heather Clarke is suffering from Cancer and had to undergo more surgery in the last week. This is why DC is not playing much at the moment. It explains his absence from the Seve Trophy and his notable absence from the US events over the coming weeks.
