Now that we are half way through who would be on your tem aof the noughties so far?

For the record mine would be...

    Paul Hearty
    Mike McCarthy
    Graham Canty
    Anthony Lynch
    Seamus Moynihan
    Kieran McGeeney
    Tomas O'Se
    Dara O'Se
    Paul McGrane
    Stephen O'Neill
    Kieran McDonald
    Oisin McConville
    Colm Cooper
    Padraig Joyce
    Peter Canavan

t'was very difficult to leave out some players.ie......McGuigan, Forde, Meehan, Christie, Mulligan and several more. In fact I could pick another team that is as good. And bring a Leinster man I didn't pick player from my province.

    woah, you've got a death wish ;)

Declan Brown, Declan Meehan, Trevor Giles, Eamon O'Hara, Michael Donnellan, Francie Bellew .... rattled straight off without any thinking.

I think the only 'automatics' would be Gooch, McGeeney, Moynihan and Canavan.

All the others could generate debate

We're only half way through the noughties. Too early to be deciding on a team yet, or starting a war over who should be in it. ;)

Nothing like a bit of controversary. I just wish I could stick a Lilywhite in there but I'd be lynched.

Are you joking, you've forgotten Barry Cahill, Dessie Farrell, Jason Sherlock, Stephen Cluxton, Bryan Cullen, Paddy Christie, Peadar Andrews, Shane Ryan, Darren + Jonny Magee and any other player who has lined out for Dublin in the last 5 years.... :)

Jokes aside, what about Stevie McDonnell? And I wouldn't have Hearty as goalie. He has only been Armagh goalie the last two years sure. Before that it was Benny Tierney.

He only became Cavan goalie this year but sure if he keeps going like he did this year, I could be arguing his case by 2010!!
