Digital camera offer from Avonmore.

Apologies as this offer finished a few weeks ago but having sent away my tokens back in mid-August for their digital camera, I've yet to receive it.

It did say "allow 28 days for delivery" but it's more than that now since I sent the tokens in to them.
It also said "Subject to availability" but is there any way of knowing that there were some available by the time I sent the tokens away. I know the tokens were still available, maybe 10 days or so after I sent mine in.

Has anyone that sent away for it, received theirs?

I've been on to them a couple of times about that.

Apparently there was such a "huge response" that they had to order 20,000 extra cameras. They said that the cameras they originally had bought are being delivered, and that the people who were going to have to wait would have letters sent out to them explaining.

That was over a week ago.

I've had neither letter nor camera yet.

Anyone else ?

My cousin had his arrive a few weeks ago,

However he says its a terrible camera and not worth the effort.

It said expect the camera by 30th November.

My gf has one of them, pure s***e quality camera... there only the power of a mid quality phone camera, which is really bad for a digital camera.

so she thought it might be a cheap way to see what digital is like

the camera has a .3 mega pixel resoloution yes .3
the camera on my fone kicks it's ass!!

Not worth drinking all that milk IMO!!

As a promotion do you think people feel badly about Avonmore now and has it backfired on them? Just wondering from a marketing point of view what do people think of this?

lmao, .3 megapixels. What were they thinking? What a horrible promotion. I can only imagine it backfired.

Have you received it yet?
I too did not receive the camera although the cheque was cashed on 30/8. I went to the Avonmore web site and submitted a query as to where is it.

I've received no camera and no letter but have had no monies taken from me.
