So my b'day is coming up next month and was thinking bout splashing out and getting my pa made into one. So does anyone have one here? What are they like? How well do they heal? And who will do them round town?

I've read some stuff from bme so don't just say check there, just looking for a local opinion

well..i don't have the right bits to have it done..but I say go for it lol! I know a couple of people with it done, and they've never looked back since..where you from?I know both paddy's in bodyshock do them.
I was actually talking to a guy last week, who'd gotten it done up there recently and was really happy with it.

As far as I know Doodie has one, he is the only person I know for sure on here, but there have to be more. I asked him a while back as I am thinking of changing my PA as well and he said go for it. A lot of people are put off by the long healing time but some are "ready to go" after five weeks.

Yup I had and apadravya for about a year, but it was causing my gf discomfort so I took it out and changed it to a pa, Personally I think Apadravya is wayyyyy better than a pa. You don’t need to be circumcised to have it done. Yes it does hurt to get it done. Only piercing ive gotten so far that got a reaction out of me ( I groaned in pain) Didn’t bleed at all when I got it done.

Mine healed quick enough, cleaning is easy, you clean it every time you pee.
I got mine done in Body shock think it was 70-80 quid.(i think all the main places in town do them). I loved mine, and am giving serious though to getting it again.

How long is healing time i've been reading some mixed reports of between 3-12 months and anything in between. Judging by the amount of people that want one done we should have an apadravya-athon/beers

I'd say for my maybe 3 months but, i sadly wasnt getting any "Action" at the time so dunno go for 3 months. But basically its up to you when you use it. lol if it feels right!

Yes, yes they do. Personally the best bit for me is the look of shock when they see it first as i've got no other piercings at the mo, so they get no clue as to what to expect, i've had some pure polaroid moments

Usually they can be uncomfortable if the barbell is very long, when it's snug fitting and not uncomfortable for both partners then all I can say is yes, oh yes!

From some of the pics i've seen with the oversize ball closures I'd agree with you some of them are just plain scary (14mm+ on each side) but a properly fitted one with average closure i don't see it being that much of a prob (my opinion could change when i get it done).

maybe its coz you had a polaroid camera.
just joking, tis an interesting piercing but not for me(yet)
