    Thursday September 29th

    Dr. Lektroluv [N.E.W.S - Ghent]
Dancepig - LIVE [Space Factory - Waterford]
    Addict [Glitz]

    Admission - e12 / e10 members

This Thursday the Electric City Theater will witness the return
of the infamous Dr. Lektroluv to the emergency Traffic dancefloor. Armed
with a bag full of floor-shaking electro & italo records, a stethoscope and
hopefully some foxy nurses, the good Dr. L will be sharing his love of music
with you. His mysterious persona beguiled and amused the crowd on the last
occasion and this will be another exclusive appointment to see the 1950s
B-Movie-inspired green man up close and personal.

Rapidly becoming one of electro's busiest call-out DJ's. This much travelled
doctor has healed many dancefloor patients in hospitals and surgeries across
Europe such as I Love Techno, Awakenings, 10 Days Off , Body 2 Body and
    Electronation.

The masked Doctor was brought to the forefront of the electro world mainly
thanks to releasing some of the most exciting electro mix CD's around
including Lektrokuted, Infekted and most recently, Elektrik Planet. These
highly successful mix CD's have seen him fuse together classic tracks from
I-F, Alexander Robotnick and Depeche Mode with modern day electro from
Dexter, Carl Finlow and Adult. Seamlessly mixed and superbly selected these
compilations are essential and supply a highly enjoyable trip down electro
memory lane as well as showcasing the up-to-date hits of today. Digging deep
into electro's diverse past and exploring the music's fragmented underground
roots his compilations not only look to the past but to the present and
    future.

This mysterious named Doctor will remain masked throughout his set as he
gives you a taste of his own electro medicine. The good doctor's illuminous
green skin and mad boffin attire means he comes across as a muted,
futuristic version of cult 80's TV star Max Headroom. But don't let that put
you off because behind the mask is one of electro's leading DJ's. So don't
forget to keep your appointment with Dr. Lektroluv on Dec 9 for some dirty,
    sleazy electro love.

Support comes from fast-rising Irish electro producer, Dancepig whose
porcine rumblings will be surfacing on David Carretta's 'Space Factory
imprint in the near future. Ffor sound clips of his work, check
www.dancepig.com. Opening up the evening's proceedings will be Addict from
coming soon club Glitz in Waterford.

it was stuffed and sweaty. i love it when its sweaty, proper underground feel! new sound system is niiiiiiiccccccce. doent distort the sound at all and the new DJ booth freshens it a bit too. The new door staff are well cool, really friendly and easy to talk to! thank god for that cos it was needed.

Yeah the new setup up is sweet. Lektroluv played a steady set, but i thought dancepig was streets ahead music wise. It was packed but not T.Raumschmeire packed. Did anyone else get fooled by those 20 euro notes ? i was picking them off the ground all night. Really anoying, but also really funny.
