I just got my new mobo (asus an8 sli deluxe)

    I have 2 hard drives, a 160gb IDE and 250gb SATA

the 160 has the OS on it and is working fine.

The 250gb was basically a HDD for any files, and i have it nearly full, so I installed the raid software on the new mobo disk. The bios and the raid software sees my 250gb, windows then sees it in disk managment, but says its unallocated. I right clicked it to choose active, and then it says unallocated.

Please someone tell me that my 240 odd gbs of data isnt gone???

And if its not, how do I get it back??

at no stage was this HDD formatted BTW.

    Cheers
    Al
