More Transponder 10906 V Oddity

I notice on ProgDVB on my PC Sat Card that _ALL_ the channels in 10906 are marked FTA. Though of course only ITV3 is.

The 10759V transponder correctly shows only Men& Motors FTA.

Actually I think Sky is messed up.

Rescanned that transponder on Palcom DSL4 setbox and the channel names vanished.
(Marks them $ correctly though)

Rescanned entire 28.2 on PC Card and about 170 channel names are gone, INCLUDING all the channel names for 10906V the channels that don't have a name seem to be marked FTA, even if scrambled.

Now is obviously NOT a good time to install a FTA system for Sky

Sky One and S1T are still clear video & subtitles but encrypted sound.

If Freesat is to be a proposition for ITV, they have to get the FTA flags fixed on that transponder.

I think the flags are correct going by the Palcom box.
I think though something is wrong with channel names at the moment and the PC software then decides to mark the channels with no name FTA.

IF you "rescan" and your FTA box already has names, then they remain. If the transponder is deleted then they are detected but with no names.

Now the number of un-named or faulty channel entries has dropped from 170 to 143. Indeed the names & flags are correct on 10906 now on PC. Plenty still to fix!

watty, ProgDVB is notorious for not picking up channel names so wouldnt read to much into that, would recommend trying AltDVB or MyTheatre instead which don't have these issues.

Where do I get them?
I tried RitzDVB but it seems a bit broken
Since installing something else the Technotrend application ha ssound sync problems on the recording. Otherwise it is best.
So thats why I'm using ProgDVB

In my opinion , yes it is..is the best application by a long mile imho..I did pay for it.

Best advice I can give you is register on http://dvbn.happysat.org/index.php ..and read all about the various different programs, this site doesnt have any sat keys or files (ppl are expelled rather rapidly if they do post them there) so hope its ok to post here.

Tried AltDVB. It seems to have a problem with the four way diseqc switch.
All four LNBs in Technotrend and ProgDVB, but only 1 & 3 and sometimes not switching at all in AltDVB.
