Heya all, I wanna buy a laptop in the next 2 weeks and I was hoping to get a dell but they have upped their prices possibly so they can reduce em again before christmas....

Ive been looking around at various websites to find best deal, Im thinking about buying from states now because I cant find any ideal solutions here or UK.

The spec I want is as follows:

    Sempron or pentium M
    512 ram
    40 or 60 gig hd
    dvd burner
    * dont need any software or o.s. , tvout would be nice, budget is 900 MAX

Any ideas folks? Thanks so much for help..

there can be a few problems with buying from the states, firstly the warranty services might be costly as the company may not cover costs of shipping back and forth to the states should you have a fault and secondly customs will probably charge quite a bit once it is shipped to here thereby pushing up the price.
