I was trying to get cheap calls to someone on holidays in Portugal. They have a vodafone mobile with them and have opted for the "passport" option.
I downloaded skype and bought €10 (plus vat) worth of credit. I got email confirmation of the registration and the purchase. If I check "my account" I can see the credit has been delivered. However I cannot use it as i have 0.00 credits!! :rolleyes:
There is a paragraph on the skype site apologising for delays which may occur. Any ideas how long these delays may last?

The longest I've had to wait is about an hour and a half.... but have had it in a few minutes too.

Thanks alantc. My SkypeOut account has just been activated - that's 6 hours 50mins, from buying the credit to being able to use it.

CAn i ask how much time you got to a portugeese mobile for that price. i was thinking of getting some skype out credit but i wanted to see if wwas really worth it!!
