64-Bit Intel Chips

Well, I read PCW and they said a new intel chip was coming out in early 2000 that would use a 'new 64-bit architecture', who's speed would put a PIII to shame.
I find PCW to be pretty sound for news, but that was the last I heard of it...
LOL, unless I was very... very... drunk and reading an issue from June '97, but I don't think so.

Current PC microprocessors are 32 bit
(sun UltraSparcs are 64 bit however)

for Intels new 64 bit chip
