I'm intending on buying an amp and guitar in there soon and it should come to about €850 and I was wondering if I'd get a discount at all. Most other guitar shops i've bought stuff off have knocked a bit off the dearer the stuff became but I've never bought from them. What are they like?
p.s. I can't buy off the internet so I have to get ripped off

Go in and ask them. Normally you get an ok discount off them, if you pay in cash all the better. Although last cash price discount was 20 euro off a 490 euro amp. Not that great.

Basically, he went to buy a head and cab, asked how much the two would be if he paid in cash then and there, sales bloke went off for a minute came back and gave him a figure 80 bucks more than if he bought the two seperately...

I did haggle and he then came back with a price that was only €30 (I think, dabhoys might remember) over the cost of buying them separately

Lol, you just ahve to laugh when you hear things like that. I think they actually calculate in the discount into the price knowing people will ask for a discount.
