claiming tax back

    i was working for the summer
    i took september off, pretty much
    started a job there last thursday
    can i still claim my tax back for the summer even though im working now?

    You don't need to. Its the same tax year so as long as you gave your P60 to your new employer then your tax will be automatically sorted out. I.e. you will pay less/no tax depending on your credits and how much you've paid so far this year.
