The New Series of Nip/Tuck is starting on Sunday October 16 :D Sky One, and I cannot wait after last series was brilliant.
So then, maybe TG4 will be starting it the first week of October.

Great to hear the new series is starting. After Last seasons Finale cliffhanger. It's been a long wait

ya cant wait. think tho that tg4 are gonna be behind coz they only started showing season 2 again there 2 weeks ago. they will be showing the third episode on thursday night.

last year they ran it properly when the last episode was on the thursday and then season 2 started on the monday

dont mind either way its here!!!

    gonna be brilliant!

First episode was very poor, I thought. all the usual clichés but without a really interesting main patient story and nothing really new.

I havn't seen the first episode yet but I already have my worries. The creator openly told us The Carver would not be revealed until the end of the season, which is about 16 episodes, yes? Dragging it out that long seems like something a bad soap would do,and you can be sure the original idea for the carver has changed since it became an interesting character. They will now probably make it someone close to the main characters.

That sucks alright, though they have had longer than usual to prep and film this season so perhaps it's going to work better than we expect? I thought S1 was merely ok, but having just marathon watched S2 recently, I really enjoyed it and felt it was a massive improvement, so hopefully it won't be all bad news when S3 starts. :)

Re: The Carver turning out to be a recurring character; I originally thought they were going to reveal that Bruno Campos, the doctor they brought in to fix Sean's face in the penultimate episode was going to turn out to be the Carver, just because he seemed to get a lot of screentime and development for such a small cameo role, but then nothing seemed to come of it
I believe he's going to be in season 3 as a new surgeon in the practice so there's still a chance, and it explains why the character got some decent development from the start! Me thinking he's the Carver isn't based on anything I've read, just supposition :)

The first few episodes of S2 were pretty painful too as I recall -- Sean's shaking hands and anxiety was an awful story arc. Thankfully they forgot about it quickly enough.

Agree with djkeogh, think it's great news that it's kicking off again, last season was brilliant(imo) so hopefully this one will equal it or maybe even out-do it :D

Ryan Murpy revealed that all the shows cast kept coming into his office wondering if they are the Carver. even the cast dont know until it is actually being filmed. Dylan Walsh revealed in an interview that there is a strong possibility that he might be the Carver but is a hard one to call. it could be anyone!!! its all speculation. suppose its just to get all the fans thinking bout it.

Second episode was a little better, for once
    Christian didn't score
    !
    The
Matt storyline could be good, especially if his internal conflict escalates through further unprovoked violence :D. The patient story was once again a little weak, I thought, rather reminiscent of the hispanic drug dealer that looked a bit like Ben Kingsley - Escobar? and the gorilla thing was just silly. There's still hope :)
