I bought an old house last year needing a lot of work in the Southside of Dublin. After a number of months my neighbour tells me there is actually two cars buried in the back garden. He thinks they are a ford escort and morris minor. The previous owner was a bit of a Steptoe and son and this is how he got rid of the cars (You would believe me if you saw the amount of junk we have already got rid of). I hope to find where exactly these cars are next year once I finish fixing up the house, but my wife isn't mad on the idea.

Here is a pic of an abandonded Mk1 Toyota Cressida on the outskirts of Kildare Town (opposite Kildare Chilling Company).......

Ahhh the Cressida, they were a dinger of a car. I remeber a boss of mine had one and the spec was incredible compared to what we were used to ( Escorts and Cortinas) it was all electric, auto, sunroof, the works. And a bullet to booth.
I was convinced when he turned up in it that he was a millionaire.Ah the memories.
