Hi flynn,

Had a listen to 'Bottoms Up'. Good stuff, instantly likeable! Lyrics are pretty good, and the lead vocals I like a lot. Overall, it's an excellent demo, great structure to the song. I'll listen to the other tracks later.

So what are you guys up to? Are you playing in Dublin anytime soon? Any plans to get signed, or record a bit more yourselves?

We are currently house hunting in cork.. we're all moving up there to live together and gig there... I know dublin is the place to be.. but we dont fancy living there.. not yet anyway... When we move in we'll start makin demo 3 and we'll start promoting ourselves more and more...

Really really well done love most of the songs,

How did you record the demos they are well recorded.

You boys should head to the states I was talking to a guy last week who played me a demo of a band who could not get a break over here because of the S&*t that they play on the radio stations over here. Yet they were getting loads of airplay in America because every second radio station there is a rock station.

Good stuff.

With regards to recording, We got a loan out and bought an iMac G5, Pro-tools LE and lots of good mics!
We recorded/mixed the demo in 3 days.. which was tough going as we pretty much taught ourselves as we were going along...
This applies to the second demo only. We paid 500 bucks for the first demo! (which had another song on it) but we feel we did a better job ourselves and have been told so. We're happy with that.

We've been writing together with maybe 2 years? we started as a covers band and have only gotten out of that with a few weeks so we're starting to write seriously now...

Where would we even start to get airplay in america?!
Will have to get some DJ's email address' i suppose!

Just checked out yer site. Really impressive! I downloaded 3 of the songs aswell, have to say that I think the Lough is the best. It's really intense at parts, if ya know what I mean.
So good work Silver Trail. I'll definately come check ye out sometime

That's strange if you don't have something blocking pop-ups and you got to the download page i can't see why it won't download.??

Single Release:


We have just finished recording our first single, due for release in July (will have a proper date soon). It's currently being mixed and mastered by our producer Tomás Mulcahy (www.madtheory.com).
The song will start getting some airplay by the weekend or early next week on some Irish music shows and hopefully more regular airplay in a few weeks.
We'd also like to welcome Edel Dooley on board the Silver Trail team as our manager. Feel free to contact her if you have any questions - edeldooley@gmail.com
Finally, check out our van... it's been pimped. Watch out for it on the roads, it's a red Hi-Ace with 'Super Van!' written on the side and back.
