Beer - Your average intake!

Here's a poll for all ye beer drinkers.
Just curious to know how many pints folks drink on an average night out?

Could be none, usually 3-6, occasionally I get properly hammered.

Once I got over 6 I get a nasty hangover, and I can't fit much more beer in, so unless I have a good reason, I stop drinking or (hit the shots).

Hmm... not sure it's this pole provides enough information. The resolution seems a bit low between the 3 and 7 pint area (i.e. there is only one category here!).

Guess most of us will end up in this category.

Me. What can I say I love my beer. I would tend to drink pints all night, mixing my drinks gives me a wicked hangover. I've no problem going out, about 10pm, and drinking pints all night long (including pints in night club) and reaching an intake of say 10 or so. Now I mightn'y be too healthy in the morning but I wouldn't totally dying... or at least not so bad anyway!

No wonder my mates think I've drink problem.

I'd be 6 odd time I've gotten up to 8. Usually sick then I hit the Vodka and seven up or shots green aftershock and baby guiness

I have a decent tolerance of alcohol. On a night out I'd easily drink 5 or 6 pints, a pint or two of Fat Frog, and a host of maybe 5 or 6 shots of different types.

I don't really get hangovers either.

But I only drink about once every two months.....not a big drinker.

I have little problems drinking 7-8 pints with a couple of whiskys on a night out, but I rarely do things like that. If I go out to a pub, it's usually for a nice relaxed social evening with friends. I'll usually stop drinking if I think I've had enough. I will occasionally keep drinking, if the night goes that way, but generally I drink for the taste and to relax a bit, not to get drunk.

I don't go drinking all that much anyway. Perhaps twice a month, more if there's a birthday to celebrate.

Depends on the situation i.e what mates Im out with or if its a special occasion.

Some mates just get the craic going when i haven't seen them in a while and could easily hit the 15 mark, but usually if im drinking cans maybe 8 if Im in the pub 8-10.

Still have a hangover from last night:)

Since I get pissed so easily 5 probably would be max. Any more than that we are talking pukey pukey and give me even one shot and I'm dead. I'd probably drink more on a night out if drink wasn't so bloody expensive in Dublin! :mad:

Anyone who says more than 10 is talking BS. If they are not god bless their livers!

Id drink 10+ pints no hassle on a session , not that im proud of that fact .

Right, fun police ahoy, I'm closing this down. It's heading too far in the direction of liver abuse for my liking. You can PM protests and I'll give your opinions due consideration, but for now this is sailing too close to the wind and doesn't fit in with the charter.

As it is, you've over 30 poll votes so that should be a reasonably useful indication of how many pints people drink on a night out...
