Radio/CD player in Audi A4

    Hi,
    The radio in my A4 needs to be replaced (thanks to my 2 year old stuffing the CD slot with coins :) ). Do I need to replace with the same radio from an Audi dealer or do I have other (cheaper) options?

    Yes, the coins are out but the radio is unrepairable

    You can replace the head unit wint an after-market one, but you are going to need a facia adaptor, as the original is a bit too long, so a new head unit will have gaps on both sides.

    Best places for radio/cd players and best prices on web....got a lovely pioneer one for my Passat(same as Audi) for 150......Pioneer is best according to my mate who does CD installation and so on!!

    If it is just the Cd that is knackered & if the car is wired for a CD changer you can install a 20GB Phatnoise MP3 Changer that holds thousands of songs & works off the factory Audi radio. It just plugs into the cd changer wire like a changer box. I am organising a group buy on Boards & we should be getting them in at approx €250 ea.
