If a player raises a bet to go all in ( more than double ) and thinking that there is only one player in the hand turns up his cards when there is another player to reply , Is that players hand mucked? or what happens

The hand stays in play, it's just his misfortune. The player still to play has just been given an advantage

Thanks for that. I played a small tourney recently where it declared that all disclosed cards during play will be mucked except when there are only 2 players and one is all in

I saw this situation on the Poker Den on Bravo last Friday or the previous one, the Poker Den is a British based Partypoker tournie with online qualifiers where they play with bundles of cash rather than chips. Anyway tournie director was mad Marty Wilson and one player flipped his hand when there was still money to be played for and Marty ruled that there be no more betting between him and his opponent for the rest of the hand!

This happened to me earlier this week
I had poket 44s called a small enough raise by the BB and was followed by another who went all in to call.... the BB flipped his cards thinking it was just him and the other guy. He had KJo... Flop came 4 6 8 I went all in and he called.

The ruling was he could not raise on the flop but could react to any action I may take.

he lost....and still have no idea why he called
