palm and ppc is a PDA..

It's just that they are both different O/S type..
Personally I go with PPC if you're used to windows..
    Feels just about the same..
    Except on a smaller scale..
    Just my thought..

If your going for Pocket PC, get the Phone Edition. Pretty much all you will ever need in one pocket device. I've had variations of O2's XDA since they were released. I'd be lost without it.

But if you are buying from the US, make sure it's GSM and sim & netowrk unlocked. Also quad band so it will work all over the world.

all-in-one does seem great but don't really forget about the battery life..
Should really take that into consideration..

I have an Hp ipaq 4700 myself..
When I turn on the wifi to surf net they only last like 6 hrs..
But on a normal use without using wifi they last up to 12 hrs..

If this is my battery life on my ipaq..

Imagine the battery life of the XdA with phone feature..
If you can live with charging it everyday..
Thenby all means go with Xda

I would tend to agree about the battery life but it wasn't much of a concern for me. When I wasn't using the XDA I'd put it in the cradle in work. I'm a light phone user so my XDA usually lasted me the full weekend without charge.

Wi-fi drains the hell out of it though.
