getting from maynooth to kilcock

    i need to be in kilcock 3 days a week at 9am and will be coming from maynooth. the first train doesn't leave until 10.19....is this right? And no bus route? :confused:

    Unfortunately yes that's right. Despite the fact they're so close getting there using public transport is a pain. Some of the buses from town do go to Kilcock through Maynooth but the first one that does is leaving town at 8 so that wouldn't get you to Kilcock on time. Could you cycle there? Even if you're not that fit it really isn't very far, I've walked it a few times.

    Seems like the 1st Bus Eireann doesn't get into Kilcock until 10.10am either. That's a ridiculous situation really isn't it! It's timetabled to take 5 mins to get from Maynooth to Kilcock. As Angeldelight says-you could walk or cycle. It'd probably take no more than 20mins on a bike depending on whereabouts in each place you're going.

    Yeah any sort of service to Kilcock from Maynooth is brutal. In fact Kilcock don't have much of a service to anywhere. It really needs to be sorted out.
